The SHKP Book Club by Sun Hung Kai Properties (SHKP) aims to promote reading culture in Hong Kong. Graphic illustrations are a powerful tool of expression when they come with texts. The cover story of the latest SHKP’s free literary magazine is about texts and graphic illustration. It introduces famous graphically illustrated books in Europe, Japan and Hong Kong. A number of noted Hong Kong graphic illustrators also talk about their career.
Meanwhile, the profile story is about local cartoonist Lau Wan-kit. He talks about his experience over the past 16 years working on his best seller comics FEEL 100% and his future plans. His comic book has won the grand prize at Japan International Comics Festival, which is a big boost of Hong Kong’s comic industry. The SHKP’s magazine also introduces best sellers around the world, to lift readers’ horizon.
