The Author
Jim Collins is a coauthor of Built to Last, a bestseller for over five years with a million copies in print. He was on the faculty of the Stanford University Graduate School of Business, where he received the Distinguished Teaching Award. He now runs a management research laboratory in Boulder, Colorado and advises business and civic leaders.
